The final version of the present work is published as the cover of The Infinite Web: Eight Stories of Science Fiction by Robert Silverberg (The Dial Press, 1977).


Condition Report*: Very faint toning, most visible near image extreme edge. A few scattered pin dots of brown. Three losses to margins; three subsequent horizontal tears, stabilized with tape, visible around losses in right margin. A few scattered handling creases, primarily observed under raking light. Wear and markings to margins of sheet in keeping with illustration and publishing process. Not framed.
