Biography:
Dallas based multimedia artist, Hava Toobian often focuses on how the relationship of past and present signifies a place of origin in her works. She often includes collected objects over the years with many layers of texturally painted images of life and dreamed creatures. Hava Toobian has shown work through the past six years in Dallas, Tulsa, New York, Beirut, and Cairo along with a 2017 residency at Triangle Arts Association, Brooklyn.
