Biography:
Born 1 August 1940. From 1966 to 1968, Papageorge worked as a photographer's assistant in New York City, New York. From 1968 to 1978, he worked as a freelance photographer in New York City. Since 1978, Papageorge has been a professor of photography at Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut.
