Born 25 May 1902. From 1917 to 1921, Rössler apprenticed in the photographic studio of Frantisek Drtikol in Prague. From 1921 to 1926, he worked as a photographer at the Drtikol studio. In 1925, Rössler was the photographer of the Free Theatre, Prague. In 1926, Rössler worked in commercial photographic studios in Paris, France. From 1927 to 1928, Rössler worked as an advertising and commercial photographer in Prague. Rössler returned to Prague in 1935 and opened a portrait studio that operated until 1951. From 1951 to 1964, Rössler worked at Studio Fotografia, Prague.
