Garry Winograd is widely accepted as one of the greatest photographers in the 20th century. He roamed the streets of postwar America and photographed the life that he saw. Primarily, he focused on the middle class - their vivacity, hopes, dreams, anxiety, and daily life. Winograd traveled the USA looking for the right moment to capture the emotion and activity of the every day. Winograd left almost 800,000 photographs and and 300,000 of those had not been developed by his death in 1984.
