This hypnotic lapidary piece of Tiger Iron features swirling bands of colorful minerals which were laid down some 2.7 billion years ago. The blood red Hematite pops off this slab accented by shiny yellow Goethite and metallic black Hematite. The sides and back were left rough allowing insight into how this slab was formed via sediments being moved and compressed while the Earth's crust shifted. The front has been expertly cut and polished for easy display. This slab is in excellent condition and will serve as a nice accent piece in any home or office.
