William Wise Mine, Westmoreland, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire, USA
The Fluorite from the Wise Mine is considered to be the finest green Fluorite in the world because it's rich green is so pure and well balanced. Occasionally the Wise Mine has provided some Fluorite "rough" of a pleasing mint-green color, in big enough pieces capable of generating large faceted gems such as this. This fancy cut of 237 carats measures a sizable 39.8 x 31.4 mm. There are a couple of faint "veil" type inclusions but overall clarity is excellent. The stone is well proportioned and the polish is excellent.
Overall measurements: 39.8 x 31.4 mm, 237 carats. Offered at no reserve.
