This illustration appeared as the frontispiece of Edgar Rice Burroughs' novel, Thuvia, Maid of Mars, A. C. McClurg and Co.,1920.

This drawing was also featured on page 113 of The Edgar Rice Burroughs Library of Illustration, Volume 1, Russ Cochran, 1976.
