The Athenic pattern rectangular tray with copper center engraved with fish and aquatic foliate decoration inscribed Weetamoe, the silver border with cast leaf and scroll handles and demi-lunes along the sides.

The cutter Weetamoe was owned by the Rhode Island textile tycoon and US Senator Henry F. Lippitt. Racing in the 60 foot class, the Weetamoe was one of three yachts designed by William Gardner to win the Astor Cup (1906).
