The stepped pentagonal steeple-form clock clad in segmented slabs of lapis lazuli, the center section with an arched niche on each side containing a cast silver and enamel figure, three of a crowned Emperor holding on orb and scepter with a shield to his side, two with figures of knights each corner with enameled foliated relief column with grotesque mask at the base, surmounted by cast silver and enamel figures representing the virtues, base with roundels on each side with case and enameled eagles, over canted scrolled cloisonné enamel panel centering masks, the clock raised on five paw feet, the upper portion with silver and enameled panels of addorsed female figures within strapwork ground over segmented arch containing cast stag head, separated by columns surmounted by cast silver and enamel figures, the attic with enameled dormers, topped by enameled clock surround and movement with figural finial.
