America's most beloved illustrator, Norman Rockwell, also paid homage to Elvgren - and to this specific painting - in a typically whimsical Rockwell and painting titled, New Calendar, which depicts an elderly gentlemen proudly hanging his new wall calendar, turned to the month that features this very Elvgren pinup art, as his bemused wife looks on.
