tightly woven of maidenhair fern and pale yellow-dyed porcupine quills over a hazel and conifer root foundation, with half-twist overlay design of serrated elements on the exterior, old tag attached on the interior, inscribed EH 350

This lot is accompanied by a letter of deaccession from the Favell Museum and a letter of attribution from Marvin Cohodas.
