The gilt wood mirror with broken pediment frame, strap-work design beneath deeply carved swirling acanthus leaves and three dimensional blossoms of hydrangea, roses and chrysanthemum, central putti with one at base to either side, emerging from leaves are birds, animals, reptiles and insects painted in contrast to gilt ground.
