The oversized tankard, chased repoussé scene front and back of horse race within stamped borders, lower border with chased repoussé foliage and addorsed scrolls to cartouche below everted spout, S-scroll handle with five knuckle hinge and cast pierced scroll thumb piece terminating with horse foot, cushion base, stepped lid with wreath of berried foliage, cast finial of finely chased horse with foal on textured ground.
