the paws and tail overlaid with panels of black wool, embellished with highly stylized bi-lateral elements, stitched in various shades of glass seed beads, edged with red, blue and green silk ribbon, trimmed with brass hawk bells and dangles composed of globular brass beads alternating with faceted black beads and terminating in metal thimbles; accompanied by a blue ribbon inscribed, Greater St. Louis Archaeological Society, First Place, Jefferson City Missouri July 1993
