This sculpture is a 2nd variation, probably from the end of the 1920's, and was created in an edition of circa 25. This piece is numbered 1 below the artist monogram and is stamped MADE IN GERMANY on the base which indicates that it was most likely created for export to the United States. We would like the thank Dr. Ursel Berger of the Kolbe Museum, Berlin, for this information.
