Press Release - March 27, 2007

Decorative Arts, Sculpture, Antique Furniture, Rugs and Tapestries to be Auctioned by Heritage!

Dallas, TX: On April 26 & 27, Heritage Auction Galleries will present its Spring 2007 Decorative Arts Auction. The Spring Auction features over one thousand lots of decorative arts, sculpture and antique furniture, including important collections of eighteenth and nineteenth century American and English silver, eighteenth and nineteenth century Continental and English porcelain, eighteenth and nineteenth century art glass and stained glass, American and European sculpture, and a collection of rugs and tapestries.

"We are extremely pleased with the quality and breadth of the pieces offered in this auction," commented Michael Wolf, Deputy Managing Director, Fine and Decorative Arts. "A number of discriminating collectors from both Texas and around the country are presenting rare and fresh items to the market."

Wolf continued, "Heritage is offering several large estate collections, including 18th century English furniture from a well-known Dallas collector, the lifetime silver collection of a Houston-based connoisseur, and important American Victorian pieces from the former Mary Kay mansion. From the Midwest, we have an important Russian bronze by Evgeny Aleksandrovitch Lansere."

"We are especially honored to be able to offer the Charles N. and Josephine R. Aronson collection of Harriet Whitney Frishmuth sculpture," Wolf said. "Some of these rare and monumental pieces are seldom seen in the marketplace, and were passed directly from the artist's estate to the Frishmuth Gallery, part of the Aronson's home at Hundred Acres, Arcade, New York."

"Of special interest to designers and homeowners alike," Wolf said, "will be the large selection of elegant French and Continental furniture and decorative artwork. These lots represent a substantial portion of a prestigious New York designer's collection, which includes the finest Scalamandre silk upholstered furniture and the most tasteful artwork and decorations for the discriminating buyer."

"I'd invite everyone to visit our website at www.HA.com" Wolf concluded, "where they can view enlargeable, full-color images of each lot in our auction, read our complete and informative catalog descriptions, and even place their bids from the comfort and convenience of their home or office."
