Exquisite Collection of Hand Mirrors to be Offered at Auction!
Dallas, Texas: The beauty of silver is on display in the Frank C. Randall Collection of hand mirrors, to be offered at auction in May.
"The 840-piece Frank C. Randall Collection is certainly the most comprehensive and finest collection of hand mirrors ever assembled," said Dr. Edmund P. Pillsbury, Managing Director of Fine and Decorative Arts for Dallas-based Heritage Auction Galleries. "The achievement of a consummate collector, many of the mirrors stand alone as superlative examples of the art of the silversmith. An offering of hand mirrors of this scale and quality will not likely be seen again."
The collection, which will be offered in its entirety without reserve, encompasses beautiful pieces ranging from the Art Nouveau period to mid twentieth century design.
