A MONUMENTAL CHINESE SILVER AND SILVER GILT DRAGON BOAT ON STAND

The dragon boat form centerpiece with hull comprised of stylized repoussé scales, dragon's head prow and tail to stern, the hull surmounted by a silver gilt filigree pagoda-form cabin with twelve windows, four doors, ten hanging filigree lanterns to the lower level, a tiered second and third level with four window and eight doors total, the uppermost roof surmounted with a ball-form filigree finial and spire, the centerpiece supported by a carved wood wave-form stand. Condition Report*:

One agate eye missing, the uppermost finial attached and straight but loose in mounting, one ball missing from top of filigree fence to rim of boat, very minor surface scratches throughout, loss to wood stand, especially to the back.
